Folding engraved map with contemporary coloured wash. 4to (11 3/4 x 9 1/4 inches), pages: vi:227:[1, errata]. Recent half tan calf, marbled boards, spine lettered and decorated in gilt direct. Bound without the half-title. Foxing to frontispiece else internally very good indeed. With, bound-in at end 4-page manuscript details of land enclosed in the New Forest and lands thrown open; this circa 1830. Also another leaf detailing lands to be drained and the costs involved in doing so.

Inner hinges tender. Foxing to prelims. Ink inscription on recto of frontispiece.
