BRISTOW & GARLAND BOOKSELLERS are antiquarian and second-hand booksellers established in the New Forest area for many years. The origins of the firm extend back to the 1940's when Henry Bristow opened his first bookshop in Bristol, later trading as Jabez Elliott in partnership with his son, David.
David Bristow opened his first shop in 1974. Since 1992 he has (in partnership with his wife, Victoria) traded as Bristow & Garland Booksellers; their shop in Fordingbridge, Hampshire finally closing in 2016.

We are always happy to consider offers of collections of books or indivdual items of interest, especially autograph letters, manuscript journals and diaries.
We can also undertake valuations for insurance or probate.
